About Us

New Approach Training and Consultancy Ltd was set up by Brian McGloughlin. Brian is a highly experienced HR Manager, Consultant and Trainer who has senior management experience across a broad range of industries (Retail, Security and Travel) and business models. Brian has gained valuable experience both in a self-employed capacity and through management positions in the private sector. Brian has over twenty years experience in both the multinational and SME sectors. He appreciates the competitive advantage that learning and development can bring both to the individual and the organisation.
Since setting up New Approach, Brian has provided HR support and consultancy services to businesses in various industries including providing advice in relation to NERA inspections. Brian has also supported and advised businesses in managing all aspects of employee relations and procedures. He also has considerable experience in the area of Industrial Relations having operated in both unionised and non-unionised environments.
Brian completed an MBA and an MSc in Human Resource Management with the OU Business School. Brian has also completed a FETAC (level 6) Trainers course as well as the NUIM Certificate in Training and Further Education. He has recently been appointed a member of the FETAC External Authenticator Panel and is also a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development and the Chartered Management Institute.
